Professor J. Manrakhan, Vice President at the English Speaking Union, Mauritius, is a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Mauritius and Executive Director of the Mauritius Research Council, and is presently Chairman of the Sugar Insurance Fund Board as well as a member of the National Economic and Social Council. The author of several books and numerous articles, he is currently interested in the exploration of science, spirituality and poetry interlinks.
